BENDER BLENDER circuit bending every Wed. 7pm-11pm

STRANGE POWERS has been hosting a circuit bending workshop every wed at THE FIFTH. Essentially  circuit bending as I've seen it  is rewiring and tricking out existing electronic gizmos whether they be classic drum machines, old toys like speak n spells, or even Furbys to create new and unique noices or instances through the use of switches, pads, or motion sensors.

At any rate, I came across this interesting concept of CD marketing with a bit of what I've been seeing locally throughout these workshops. (from surfing through one of my favorite sites, CROWD CONTROL RECORDS) 

Musician Moldover offers his music with a circuitboard cd case that can be used as an instrument by utilizing motion sensors and a plug-in for headphones and/or soundsystems.
