WU TANG CLAN x PHRANCHYZE - Saturday at Emo's

Here is a poster/flier we designed for the upcoming Wu Tang Clan and Phranchyze show at Emo's on Saturday, December 11th.
From what I understand the whole clan minus Ole Dirty (R.I.P) will be on hand to bring the ruckus. Hometown hero, Phranchyze offer support hot off the release of his latest project "The Black Larry Bird" should be an awesome show.

OXBLOOD 2010 in pictures

Being that OXBLOOD FEST was about two weeks ago and the details are now pretty blurry...heres some photos to best describe what went on.

There were like 3 glass blowing shops on hand who were working on location--it was pretty cool.








Henry and the Invisibles was a great act, who had a great r and b, dance sorta vibe. cool act.

The Hi Tones killed a set with lead singer Johny Flores at the helms.





ART and such.


Muggzy Flowz and Promise Pseudo grabbed mic in the afternoon to let folk know wht time it was.

Phranchyze and Jack Swiss took stage later that evening.

Austin EAST Nov 20-21:ART O MATIC

ARTOMATIC : Art show and market in EAST AUSTIN

Taking place at the historic Victory Grill. The popular venue whose awe inspiring murals showcase the East End, and whose inside walls are painted by famed french graffiti writer, Andre' will house the first ARTOMATIC art show and market on Nov 20-21.

Presented by Mofoz Visualz, Shadow Paradigm, 5th Gallery and Another Option Productions.

The show will feature live art in the form of a 24 hour painting session by Marc Zuazua of Mofoz Visualz and Art Vader.
Multimedia, dazzling projections, and visual lightshows will also illuminate the East side of Austin.

You will also enjoy an outside art market and show as well as relax or dance in the inside lounge and dance floor.

Music will be provided by Hour Band, Phranchyze, DJ ROCK WELL and more.

Red Bull EmSee Battles in Houston tonight

Big ups to 5th Gallery representers Zeale, Phranchyze, Japanese Jesus, and Dubb Sicks as they battle tonight in Houston at the EMSEE: Road to 8 Mile competition.

Bun B of UGK and 9th Wonder will be the judges. The 4 austin emcees were chosen as 8 mc's who will battle for a chance to get to the finals in Detroit where Eminem and Dr Dre will be judging the event.

Our pals at OFFSHOOT MEDIA just posted up some video from our super awesome 5th street cypher during SXSW 2010 at the FIFTH GALLERY.

Offshoot has been filming the past few One Take live mixtapes at the gallery and we are always impressed by their camera and editing skills. This one was a lil more hectic due to the volume of folk and excitement of SXSW but definitely is worth a watch and listen...check em out.

ONE TAKE Live Mixtape at The Fifth Gallery

"ONE TAKE" is an upcoming mixtape project conceptualized by DJ JAZZ ONE and The Fifth Gallery. This is a unique concept being that it will be LIVE...this means, One take. Invited lyricists include the crem a la crem of Austin's rap talents in Tee Double, Zeale, Phranchyze ,and Orion.

The mixtape will take place, be recorded, video taped, and webcast from THE FIFTH GALLERY on January 8, 2010.
